What I have to offer.
Massage is much more than just a luxurious spa entity. It is body awareness. Massage ultimately reduces life’s stresses; it helps relieve muscle tension, lower heart rate and blood pressure, and increases circulation which aids in healing. Because true wellness is a way of life, massage can help you to become aware of your body as a whole, leading to prevention of diseases, illnesses, and learning to manage daily stresses on your own.
Your massage is therapeutically personalized, and focuses on your personal needs; body/mind/spirit. From a relaxing luxury to chronic pains or health conditions, the pressure is as you desire plus certain techniques are used specifically for you. Massages are suitable and beneficial to anyone and everyone. This is a simple concept really; everyone that walks into my door is accepted and respected. I've worked with both genders, people of all ages, and of all shapes and sizes, judging no one! Personalize your massage even more!
Pre and Post-Natal-This massage is designed to help decrease stress and discomfort of pregnancy and postpartum stress. Adjustments are made to a normal massage to reduce pain and aches, improve sleep and skin elasticity, and help relax and sooth baby as well as yourself. Face and Scalp- Massage to the face and scalp stimulates blood circulation and removes dead skin cells. Facial massage is also known to tighten certain skin tissues and scalp massage is known to help the hair grow! Myofascial Mobilization-Connective tissue can become restricted over time. With this technique, mobility can become increased, posture can be normalized, pain can be reduced, and cellular respiration can increase! Aromatherapy- Essential oils can be added to your massage to enhance your well being, both psychologically (the nostrils are attached to a part of the brain that controls emotions and the nervous system) and physically (oils can be absorbed through the skin). Reflexology- This ancient technique has been around for ages. It brings awareness to the body as a whole, as points on the feet actually reflect different areas of the body. Reflexology promotes balance and aids in reaching homeostasis. |
